Realcold History

Refrigeration Engineering was established in 1955, providing quality products, services and customised solutions to the commercial refrigeration industry in New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.

With a nearly seventy-year heritage, Realcold is a leading world-class, wholesale supplier to the refrigeration and air conditioning industry in New Zealand and the South Pacific rim.

Realcold's Head Office is based in Auckland, New Zealand, providing a group approach to the delivery of all of our customer's refrigeration and air conditioning needs, along with nine branches nationwide and two distribution centres, we can work with your business, anywhere in New Zealand, to meet your company's needs.

Commercial air-conditioning

Realcold manufactures a range of commercial air-conditioning screw and reciprocating compressor sets. Units are manufactured to specification and are available for use with R407 and R134a refrigerants - these packages are available with high efficiency inverter and economiser options.

Domestic air-conditioning

Realcold supply contemporary looking Gree air conditioning units and quality ancillary equipment suitable for domestic applications. With a comprehensive range of air conditioning components from: piping, ducting, filters and mounting brackets to diffusers, condensate pumps, thermostats, valves and tools - we have everything you need for a complete installation.

Industrial refrigeration

Realcold offer a comprehensive range of valves, fittings, evaporators and condensers suitable for industrial applications using NH3. Our product specialists are available to provide further information and to discuss your specific requirements

Commercial Refrigeration

Realcold provide the technical expertise to design, manufacture, and supply a comprehensive range of high-quality cooling components and equipment to compliment every refrigeration application, from a 250kw low temperature rack to a flake ice machine.
